My name is David Wimble, and the first thing I'd like to say is sorry about the crappy picture. I'll try and fix it up, when I find the time.

I am the only remaining member of the band "Big Meteor". Recording Wild River was an amazing experience, but the eight months of grueling work took its toll, and the other members have moved on to other things. I hope to eventually build Big Meteor into a four or five piece band, and then tour wherever there is interest in the music.

I am happy to report that the reviews for Wild River have been amazing! I am also busy creating a ground-breaking resource publication called the Indie Contact Bible which is also receiving fantastic reviews!

As far as my musical influences go, it's the good old Beatles and Rolling Stones. The lyricists I admire the most are Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Jim Carroll.

I hope you take a chance and purchase a copy of the Wild River CD. If you don't like what you hear, I'll refund your money without question. It's mostly acoustic rock and roll, but does touch down on different genres.
